Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical commercial applications
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor architectures
- Lead quantum software development projects using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Create technical documentation and patent disclosures for quantum innovations
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quantum computing workshops
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and research papers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational theory
- Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
