Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world commercial applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate quantum solutions into enterprise platforms
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier scientific journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research grants and government funding initiatives
- Mentor PhD researchers and foster next-generation quantum talent
- Develop roadmaps for quantum supremacy in 2026-2030
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals
- Strong knowledge of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ions)
- Experience leading research teams with $1M+ budgets
- Familiarity with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
