Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems and machine learning applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for industrial applications
- Mentor PhD researchers and lead cross-functional innovation sprints
- Secure patents and intellectual property for quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and circuit optimization
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and computational complexity
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and GPU acceleration
- Track record of translating theoretical models into practical implementations
