Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems with real-world commercial applications
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols to secure next-gen communications infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Optimize qubit coherence times using superconducting and photonic computing architectures
- Translate theoretical quantum advantage into industry-specific solutions for finance and healthcare
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory and experimental physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry R&D
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and error mitigation techniques
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane frameworks for quantum simulation
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum machine learning
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware (D-Wave, IBM Quantum, etc.)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into stakeholder-friendly roadmaps
