Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Develop error mitigation protocols for NISQ-era systems
- Collaborate on patent filings for novel quantum architectures
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing fundamentals
- Present findings at IEEE/ACM quantum conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science quantum computing papers
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface codes, LDPC)
- Familiarity with cryogenic quantum control systems
