Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in cryptography and optimization
- Optimize quantum circuit performance on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum solutions for enterprise clients
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to translate theoretical models into functional systems
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and IP protection
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Published work in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and noise mitigation
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic quantum processors
