Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and complex system modeling
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security protocols for 2026 infrastructure
- Conduct experimental research on qubit coherence times and error correction techniques
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor architectures
- Develop simulation frameworks for quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in quantum computing journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation in quantum machine learning applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with demonstrated algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq)
- Strong background in cryptography and post-quantum security frameworks
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
