Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications

- Secure federal and private research grants totaling $2M+ annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience (IBM/Qiskit preferred)
- Published research in quantum algorithm design or error correction
- Expertise in Python/C++ with quantum simulation frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to secure NSF/DOE grants
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
