Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead experimental validation of qubit coherence in cryogenic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum modules with classical systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics/Science journals
- Secure $2M+ in DoE/NIST grant funding for quantum security initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or ion traps
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit simulation frameworks
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, etc.)
- Security clearance eligibility for DoE projects (preferred)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical systems
