Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead the development of quantum communication protocols with <1% error rates
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Create quantum algorithm blueprints for cryptography, AI, and material science
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Secure and manage quantum technology patents and intellectual property
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years in quantum computing research or development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Deep understanding of quantum information theory and entanglement protocols
