Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Optimize cloud costs through architectural reviews and resource automation
- Lead security compliance initiatives including SOC 2 and ISO 27001
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Document system architectures and operational procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to resolve production issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering
- Expertise in AWS/Azure services with 3+ certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Strong knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Python/Go scripting for automation solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
