Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue and Apache Spark
- Develop real-time data streaming solutions with Kafka and Kinesis
- Optimize data warehouse structures in Snowflake and Redshift
- Create data validation frameworks ensuring 99.9% data integrity
- Mentor junior engineers on data modeling best practices
- Collaborate with ML teams to prepare training datasets for AI models
- Automate data governance processes using dbt and Terraform
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years building production data pipelines in cloud environments
- Expert proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools
- Certification in AWS/GCP data analytics services
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of data security frameworks (HIPAA/GDPR)
