Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping technological evolution through 2026 and beyond
- Develop and present innovation roadmaps to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions in emerging tech domains
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders for trend analysis
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global innovation forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-functional innovation task forces
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic shifts affecting technology adoption timelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of commercializing future-focused initiatives with measurable impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend extrapolation
- Strong network of connections within global innovation ecosystems
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year horizon strategic planning outcomes
- Fluency in data visualization tools and futures research methodologies
