Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Java/Spring Boot and Python
- Lead cloud infrastructure optimization on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS)
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical requirements
- Implement security best practices and compliance measures
- Analyze system performance and optimize for scalability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience with cloud-native applications
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Proven track record of mentoring development teams
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
