Responsibilities
- Design and implement carbon-neutral infrastructure frameworks for smart cities
- Lead cross-functional teams in integrating renewable energy systems with urban planning
- Develop adaptive infrastructure solutions resilient to climate change impacts
- Establish KPIs for sustainability metrics and report on progress to stakeholders
- Drive innovation in circular economy principles for construction materials
- Forge partnerships with government agencies and private sector collaborators
- Maintain compliance with evolving environmental regulations and standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- 8+ years experience in sustainable infrastructure development
- LEED AP or similar sustainability certification required
- Proven track record leading large-scale infrastructure projects
- Expertise in climate adaptation and resilience planning
- Strong data analytics skills for environmental impact assessment
- Experience with BIM and GIS technologies for infrastructure modeling
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal/state sustainability grants
