Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move stock in and out of the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Verify and count incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Data Entry: Use handheld scanners and computer systems to update inventory levels and track stock movements in real-time.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet company standards before storage or shipping.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Equipment: Forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and time management skills.
- Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
