Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods from delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to ensure accurate inventory placement.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and packing lists to maintain accuracy.
- Package and label merchandise securely for shipment, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation to prevent product spoilage and optimize storage space.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, scanners) safely and perform routine equipment maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and ability to read shipping labels and pick tickets accurately.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.
