Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including mobility assistance, vital sign monitoring, and personal hygiene support
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with meticulous attention to detail
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care across shifts
- Maintain sterile environments and follow infection control protocols rigorously
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Support patient education and emotional well-being during weekend hours
Qualifications
- Active CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficient in electronic health record systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
