Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional attitude upon arrival and throughout their shopping experience.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, services, and store policies with accuracy and patience.
- Process sales transactions accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems and handle cash/card payments.
- Organize and maintain the sales floor to ensure a clean, safe, and inviting shopping environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse customer demographics.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new POS software quickly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Reliable transportation (optional for local shifts).
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
