Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead discovery initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future tech into corporate strategy
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget for prototype development and pilot programs
- Represent company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership in IEEE/ACM
- Mentor 5-person innovation lab team through agile development cycles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, bioinformatics, Web3)
- Proven track record launching minimum 3 enterprise-grade future-tech solutions
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science/Engineering with focus on emerging technologies
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Strong network with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, Caltech) preferred
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks and technology impact assessment
