Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify paradigm-shifting technologies and market discontinuities through 2030
- Develop probabilistic scenario models for geopolitical, economic, and technological megatrends
- Architect innovation roadmaps with measurable ROI for C-suite stakeholders
- Facilitate executive workshops to translate foresight into strategic priorities
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Author thought leadership publications in top-tier journals (MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Manage cross-functional teams of futurists, data scientists, and venture strategists
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related quantitative field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight at Fortune 500 or top-tier innovation consultancy
- Published work on exponential technologies or systemic disruption
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and trend analysis
- Deep technical understanding of quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Proven track record influencing multi-billion-dollar strategic decisions
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation initiatives launched
