Responsibilities
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with carriers and third-party logistics providers to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.
- Manage inventory levels within the WMS (Warehouse Management System) and generate daily reports.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and communicate delays effectively to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Train new hires on shipping procedures and software usage.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Manhattan, NetSuite).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Ability to start work immediately upon hiring.
