Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum systems
- Collaborate with research institutions on quantum algorithm optimization
- Create technical documentation and patent novel quantum computing methodologies
- Advise executive leadership on quantum technology roadmap and investment priorities
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or advanced R&D
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience leading complex technical projects with cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of quantum hardware limitations and optimization techniques
