Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels meet operational demands.
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and feedback.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections of the facility.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Manage and organize the warehouse layout to maximize efficiency and workflow.
- Handle equipment maintenance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with inventory management software.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a valid driver's license.
