Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware and software issues via phone and remote access.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems and system failures efficiently.
- Maintain and update inventory of IT assets and hardware configurations.
- Conduct on-site visits to client locations to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Document all technical support interactions and resolutions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the weekday support team to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
- Assist in the implementation of new software patches and security updates.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware components.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of support tickets.
- Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
