Responsibilities
- Freight Handling: Load and unload trailers efficiently using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and stock organization using handheld scanners.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet company standards.
- Documentation: Accurately complete shipping labels, packing slips, and paperwork.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse machinery and report any issues.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic computer proficiency.
