Responsibilities
- Source and screen candidates for technical positions using various channels (LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and Boolean search techniques).
- Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate data entry.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified technical talent for active and future requisitions.
- Collaborate closely with the hiring team to define role requirements, salary expectations, and candidate profiles.
- Attend local tech meetups and networking events to expand our network within the Charlotte tech community.
- Provide regular feedback to the team on candidate market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of proven experience in technical recruiting, talent acquisition, or a similar HR role.
- Strong understanding of software development roles (Frontend, Backend, Full Stack, DevOps, and Data Science).
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workable) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for occasional local networking events.
